Twitter acquires Summize

Summize calls itself the conversational search and was developed as a research product at the Illinois Institute of Technology. It enables you to search twitter conversations in real time. The news is that summize got acquired by Twitter. The financial data are not yet out but summize has 750k in hand. This is probably the second twitter based application which is getting acquired after twirhl.
